Event Description
Over the next 7 months, we'll highlight a different homesteading skill including everything from raising meat rabbits to making cheese to freeze-drying food. And more!
Note that some of the sessions have a fee associated with them. The fees need to paid prior to the session. No fees will be taken at the time of the program.
Sept 18 -- Seed Saving -- participants will receive seed
Oct 16 -- Cheese Demo -- participants will receive a small block of cheese, $10
Nov 6 -- Chickens and Rabbits -- participants will receive rabbit samples, $5
Dec 4 -- Ponds -- participants can buy locally produced native plants at the session
Jan 15 -- Food Preservation -- participants will receive samples of preserved foods, $5
Feb 12 -- Vegetables -- participants will receive peat pots, labels, and seed
March 19 -- Grafting -- participants will graft their own trees, all supplies provided. Bring a sharp knife! $10
